As students we may be restricted financially but not in our love of a good night out!
As the majority of us have part-time jobs at the weekend our nights out are restricted to weekdays, whilst the rest of the world sleeps.
To hit two birds with one stone I have compiled a list of the four best places to go out in Glasgow between Monday and Thursday. Also, remember to drink responsibly i.e. don't do all four nights out in a row!
Monday @ Viper
For a Monday night, head away from the city centre and into the West End. You can claim free entry into Viper by messaging their Facebook page for guestlist and arriving before midnight. This cosy venue is a must go for all R&B and grime fans, as it's one of only a few places in Glasgow to have the whole club dedicated to those genres.
Tuesday @ Kushion
With the majority of Glasgow students having Wednesdays off, it is a perfect excuse for a Tuesday night out! With two rooms there is more than enough musical variety to please everyone. The main room is dedicated to pop and house and the second room to R&B. You can receive a discounted entry with your student card.
Wednesday @ Bamboo
On Wednesday night you are going around the corner from Kushion to West Regent Street for Bamboo. You'll feel at home in the pop, R&B or Indie room or even all three! Students gain free entry before midnight and drinks are available for £1 so, it's a night out that isn't going to burst the bank.
Thursday @ Firewater
Located on Sauchiehall Street, the Indie club is brimming with students. Guaranteed you will always see someone you know, from your old schoolmate to your long-lost cousin. The club gets busy on a Thursday so if you want to get in for free you'll need to arrive before 9pm.
