In March, you can look forward to the weather picking up and finally packing away your winter coat after the last few months because it's officially Spring!
That means it's the perfect time for you to explore the amazing British outdoors without being absolutely freezing.
One good way to do this is to become a member with the National Trust for only £64.80 a year or £5.40 a month and this gives you the opportunity to go and explore. It's better to be a member because that means you get free access to the majority of sites and there are more than enough for you to explore - nearly 600 all over the UK!
Round up a group of mates and go for a scenic walk and have lunch if the weather is on your side. If it looks like it's about to rain (be prepared for pre-April showers), you have the choice of indoor places too. We recommend these:
- Clumber Park, Nottinghamshire
- Stowe, Buckinghamshire
- Brownsea Island, Poole
- Penrhyn Castle & Garden, Bangor
- Malham Tarn Estate, North Yorkshire
- Speke Hall, Liverpool
- Souter Lighthouse, Sunderland
Did you know? Some of your favourite shows were filmed at National Trust sites, so we think that taking selfies where Game of Thrones, Poldark and The Crown were all filmed will earn you some serious likes on Instagram...
