Where should I go shopping?
Bath has everything you need if you fancy a bit of retail therapy because it's got all of the big names but plenty of quirky, independent retailers too. Artisan Quarter and Southgate are the best spots for retail therapy.
Where are the best music and dance venues?
Bath has a variety of music venues whether you want local bands, national theatre tours or just want to watch the latest movies. The Forum is great for live music, live shows at Theatre Royal are amazing and the Little Theatre is the best cinema in town!
What are the best clubs and bars?
For a small(ish) place, Bath has got some great places for you to party the night away, it just depends on what you're looking for. Lamb & Lion has the cheapest pint in town but of course, every good student city has a Spoons - Prince of Wessex is Bath's. Nightclubs? ZeroZero is the biggest (and best) and Revolution on George Street is great too.
Where are the best places to go sightseeing?
Whilst living in a historical town like Bath you HAVE to go and see the beautiful places and spaces. It'll help you know a bit more about your new home. The Roman Baths, Skyline Walk and The Abbey are all places you must see during your time in Bath.
What is nearby?
Lucky you, you've chosen a city with lots of places to visit that aren't too far away - you're spoilt for choice! Not only can you go to Longleat Safari & Adventure Park but also Cheddar Gorge and Stonehenge - one of Europe's most iconic sites.
Where can I chill in the summer?
You're spoilt for places to relax in the sun in Bath. Seeing as it was awarded World Heritage city status in 1987, there are LOTS of parks spread around the city. Once you're settled, start with Royal Victoria Park, The Royal Crescent and Henrietta Park.
Enjoy the best places in your new city and take plenty of pictures as you go to show your friends and family at home what you're getting up to.
