Featuring extensive interior-designed communal facilities including a café area and social space, games facilities, fully equipped gym with brand new equipment, gorgeous landscaped gardens and a dedicated quiet/collaborative study area, The Tramshed really is the place to make your home in Preston.

There’s a choice of en-suite apartments or studios. Each and every room includes a double bed, spacious work area, en-suite shower room and loads of storage. No matter which room you choose, they come with top notch fittings and if you opt for a studio, there’s nothing extra to pay if you share as a couple.

We’ve got a fantastic Accommodation Team to help make the most of your time at UCLan, with loads of social events planned throughout the year, and a friendly face is always on hand if you just need a chat. Your Rent

We think we’re pretty great, but here’s what some of our students have to say about living with us

“Honestly, living at the Tramshed has been such a great and comforting experience and is an amazing place to live for anyone and everyone who is far away from home!”

"The common room and study facilities are invaluable for some much needed chill time or when the library feels just too far away, not forgetting its perfectly central location."

“I love it here! Everyone is so welcoming and friendly and everything is top quality! I really like the common room and the events that are held in there, it helped me make loads of new friends”
